At St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Cookeville, I would like to begin a small group study introducing Theology of the Body to young women in our university Catholic group. These are formative years, and I see how strongly today’s social media culture shapes their understanding of love, identity, and femininity — often in ways far from God’s design.
As a young mom of three, I feel called to help these women rediscover the beauty, dignity, and wonder of authentic Christian womanhood. Through this study, I hope to create a space where they can encounter the truth of who they are in God’s eyes and how His plan for love unfolds in marriage and vocation.
Each participant will receive her own copy of the Theology of the Body in One Hour book to read and reflect on as we meet in my home for discussion and fellowship. I also hope to introduce the idea of a fertility awareness program to deepen their understanding of the gift of their bodies and God’s design for life.
