Launch campus ministry, the ministry for the three Flint area colleges, is named after Luke 5:4 "Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch." Already we have been active on the University of Michigan Flint's campus as many of our members banded together to restart the pro-life club and do outreach on campus, having conversations with students to change hearts and minds on the issue of abortion.
After being privileged to go to the SEEK 26 conference, we have come back with a renewed enthusiasm for service, evangelism, and sharing the truth. As president of the campus ministry, I was intrigued by Jason's challenge to be missionaries of chastity, and it sealed the deal when he finished the video by quoting Luke.
I am hoping that we are able to acquire these books in time to table before Valentine's Day! I also hope to hand out flowers to people as the icebreaker to get conversations started :)
