I am a missionary serving in Guatemala with Orphan Resources International (ORI), an organization dedicated to bringing hope to children living in orphanages. ORI supports these children by providing physical necessities, counseling, and volunteer work teams, working closely with local orphanages to meet both material and emotional needs.
My role is within ORI’s Steps of Hope counseling program, which focuses on helping children and teens heal from the trauma that led to their separation from their families. Through compassionate counseling and faith-filled guidance, Steps of Hope helps young people process their wounds while introducing them to the hope-filled plans God has for their lives — especially in the area of relationships and human dignity.
